家長服務點數 Parents Service Points

每一家庭應於註冊時繳服務保證金 $120 (一位學生),或 $180 (二位學生以上)。每學年每一家庭需完成二十點(一位學生)或三十點(二位學生以上)之服務工作。

學年結束時,完成服務工作之家長,無論其子女是否在學,所繳保證金全退。如服務點數不足,以每點$6.00自保證金中扣除。

Each family should pay Parent Service Deposit Fee of $120 (with one student) or $180 (with 2 or more students) at the beginning of each school year.  Each family must complete 20 points (with one student) or 30 points (with 2 or more students) of service before the end of the school year. 

If the parent has completed the required points, regardless if the student is returning next year or not, the parent service deposit fee will be refunded in full.  If the parent has not accumulated the required points, a portion of the service deposit fee will be deducted at a rate of $6.00 per point.

家長服務辦法

富樂頓中文學校是非營利機構,經費有限,需要各位家長協助擔任教室服務和安全管理職務。

每一家庭應於註冊時繳服務保證金 $120(一位學生),或 $180(二位學生以上)。

家長於註冊時填寫志願工作項目,家長聯絡組據表分派工作。

每學年每一家庭需完成二十點(一位學生)或三十點(二位學生以上)之服務工作。

每一家庭於完成一項服務工作時,應向負責安排服務之工作人員登記並載明點數。

學年結束時,完成服務工作之家長,無論其子女是否在學,所繳保證金全退。如服務點數不足,以每點$6.00自保證金中扣除。

本辦法經理事會通過,自1991-1992學年開始實施,2005-2006經理事會決議後修訂。

Procedures for Parent Services 

Due to limited budget, all parents are required to volunteer their service in assisting the teachers and/or the staff. 

1. Each family should pay Parent Service Deposit Fee of $120 (with one student) or $180 (with 2 or more students) at the beginning of each school year. 

2. Parents must choose their area of interest during school registration. Time schedule and tasks will be assigned accordingly. 

3. Each family must complete 20 points (with one student) or 30 points (with 2 or more students) of service before the end of the school year. 

4. At the completion of each assigned task, the parent must notify the task leader to record your credits. 

5. If the parent has completed the required points, regardless if the student is returning next year or not, the parent service deposit fee will be refunded in full.  If the parent has not accumulated the required points, a portion of the service deposit fee will be deducted at a rate of $6.00 per point. 

The above procedure was approved by the Board of Directors, and took effect since the beginning of the 1991-1992 school term.  It was amended by the Board in 2005-2006.

輪值家長須知

Instructions for Room-Parents

1. Parents are encouraged to help in the classroom.  Each class must choose one lead room-parent to coordinate all work schedules at the beginning of the school year. 

2. All room-parents must report to the teacher at 8:45 a.m. on the days of their service. 

3. Ask the teacher if there is any work that needs to be done before class begins.  Assist in cleaning (including empty trash cans in the classroom) and restoring the classroom at the end of the class. 

4. No room-parent is allow to interfere with the teacher's instruction.  Any comments should be directed to the teacher after class or to the principal. 

5. Assist in maintaining classroom order.  Remind students not to disturb any displays or materials belonging to the host school. 

6. Students are not allow to stay inside the classroom during recess.  The room-parent needs to make sure no student remains inside. 

7. In case of accidents, please take any necessary emergency actions and notify the school or parents immediately. 

8. Do not chat with other parents or bring young children during your service hours. 

9. If you can not help in the school on your assigned date(s), it is your responsibility to look for a qualified substitute from your class and notify the lead room-parent. 

10. Any parent who misses his/her day of service without acceptable excuses will not be assigned make-up hours, and the parent service fee will be forfeited.
