In early 1989, a group of Chinese-American residents in the Fullerton Coyote Hills area began to organize the community beyond casual friendship by forming a united organization and to establish a Chinese School to educate the next generation.
Under the leadership of Mr. Robert Feng, a non-profit organization was established as FCCA. Mr. Feng served as the first Association Chairperson to organize a Chinese School. In 1989, the Fullerton Chinese School officially began on the campus of Sunny Hills High School.
The Association and the Chinese School continued to grow throughout the years. Under the leadership of succeeding Chairpersons and school Principals, and the enthusiasm and support of members and parents, the Association has successfully carried out its mission of uniting the Chinese-American community and provides Chinese education.
