Since last year's contest was such a blast, we've decided to do it again. Join us as we put on a watermelon eating contest for all everyone at the FCCA Chinese School Sports Event. Help us out at the booth with all the watermelon, kids, and prizes. Last year's pictures can be seen here.
Note: Let's hope the weather holds up for us, but if it rains on Friday, the event for Saturday will be cancelled.

Arborland Montessori School (Amerige Heights)

For those of you who are in college or are a college graduate, there will be free ballroom dance lessons at the Montessori School in the new Amerige Heights neighborhood. No need to RSVP, just show up (feel free to bring friends). Dress in comfortable business attire (no tennis shoes) and remember to put your dancing shoes on.

The SGA held a summer beach bonfire party at Huntington Beach (map). If you weren't there, you missed out on a day of fun in the sun.

The FCCA held its annual banquet fundraiser at the Pacific Palms Conference Resort in the City of Industry, with a night full of food and music and fun.

WISEPlace (map) is a transitional shelter for homeless women. We attended an informational session to see how the FCCA-SGA could get involved in helping this organization. Afterwards we had a little get-together with the SCCCA-SGA.

In 2005, our holiday party was held at The Concourse Family Bowling Center (map). An afternoon filled with plenty of food and bowling, along with the introduction of the FCCA-SGA t-shirt!

Partook in the festivities of the annual Fullerton Chinese School Sport Event (map).

Spent the morning with the residents at the Greenfield Care Center (map). Helped out with manicures and participated in activities with the residents. No pictures were allowed at the care center, so only post-volunteer pictures are available.

The SGA manned a booth at the Fullerton Chinese School Carnival at Sunny Hills High School (map), serving out snacks and drinks.

Membership drive at Chu's Wok Inn (map), 6-9pm. With our kickoff event, the SGA is now 50 members strong!
